Healthcare Partner

The Healthcare Partner assists PRHC patients in preventative health maintenance.# The position will work closely with our providers, patients, and their insurers in promoting wellness and helping individuals realize their personal best.# The Healthcare Partner is responsible for developing an effective and efficient interpersonal relationship with patients and assisting the patient through the process of actively working towards better health by providing support, encouragement, and education. # Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities: # v# Registered Nurse, BSN required or able to complete within 5 years or employment. Registered Nurse with certification from an accredited professional health coach training program preferred. v# Knowledge of specific disease and lifestyle related topics such as smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, pre-post natal care, stress reduction and chronic conditions. v# Certification/Licensure in the State of Iowa if applicable. v# Previous acute or clinic experience. v# Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required.# New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date. v# Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. v# High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others. v# Ability to communicate well verbally.# Must work effectively as a member of a team. v# Basic computer knowledge v# Technical and Critical Thinking Skills in relation to sound nursing judgment v# Knowledge of skilled nursing practices. #

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
