RN Surgery

Position Eligible to Receive up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Collaborates with the health care team using evidence based practice, demonstrating accountability, respect for patients, families and coworkers, while providing safe and optimal patient outcomes.
Promotes continuity of care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate.
Directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care.
Performs general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision.
Able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
v Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
v Current registration and licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN.
Must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
v Continuing education as required to maintain licensure.
v Completion of coronary care course.
Maintenance of BCLS, PALS and ACLS verification.
v Dependent adult abuse training.
Mandatory reporter training for child abuse.
v Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
v Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
v High degree of empathetic listening skills, tact and kindness toward others.
v Ability to communicate well verbally.
Must work effectively as a member of a team.
v Basic computer knowledgev Technical and critical thinking skills in relation to sound nursing judgment.
v Knowledge of nursing practices as they relate to the care of the elderly.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
