Job Description:
Responsible to the Kitchen Manager for various food preparation and catering support activities.
M-F 11 am-7pm with rotating weekends. This position is full-time, eligible for benefits. Yearly Budgeted hours-1800
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare meal for student menu and possibly be called upon to assist with catering if needed.
2. Follow recipes and directions from supervisor.
3. Show continued creativity in food preparation, display and service.
4. Will contribute ideas to the Kitchen Manager for future menu development.
5. Locate items from storage area and transport to work area for use in preparing menu items.
6. Assist in the training of fellow employees and student employees.
7. Clean kitchen equipment and work area and develop a knowledge of the chemicals used.
8. Strive to maximize Central College Dining Services sustainability goals.
9. Must be flexible to work most weekends and may be called upon to fill in when needed.
10. Must work cooperatively and respectfully with the people around you and demonstrate a positive attitude.
11. Must be open and adaptable to change.
Requirements:
Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in a food establishment is preferred, but not limited to a similar setting or a restaurant.
Ability and experience in converting recipes to larger quantities.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
